Has anyone had any problems with their FW tank; moving around, leaking? I had filled mine up in Eloy, AZ, then headed for Quartzsite for a 10 day stay, had to leave and go to Yuma after 5 days, all the water leaked out. Upon arriving home, took it into the dealer where they found 2 holes that were made by the self-tapping screws because the tank had been bouncing up and down. It was not strapped or secured to the frame.

I had the same problem with my PP. Since the seville is the follow up 5er much could be the same. Hope you are under the two years and can have CR take care of it. When I found the same thing I posted it and found many others, all rigs, also had the movement with the tank. Now that being said to fix the tank you can replace it, some have had it plastic welded, or putting a strip of eturnabond tape. Remember this is drinking water. To fix the sliding I think the best is to put a block of wood so the screws enter the wood and not the tank.

Hope this helps out

Thanks George, the dealer and I talked about a couple of different fixes for the tank and they are getting a new tank from CR. I see you are in S.D., we used to lived up in the Clairmont area, just off of Balboa and Genessee before we moved to AL 5 yrs. ago. Are you going to the rally in Jul?

We live up in PQ and will be heading to the Texas rally in April. Then we will head back via southern Utah. Maybe next year as we want a reason to get back to Nashville.

Does anyone know if the fresh water tank is a bladder or hard plastic in a 2006 crossroads cruiser 5th wheel?
