Seville - purchasing options

After three years of research and weighing our options, we are in the process of purchasing our first RV. We are going with the Seville 35ck and was wondering if anyone has had experience to answer a few questions. We are brand new to RVing and we’ll be fulltime. We’ll be living 6 months in Titusville, FL (we’ve purchased a lot) and 6 months on the road. We’re planning on the PolarTec insulation.

Will the 15,000 btu ac upgrade handle the unit without the bedroom ac?

Is it recommended (by experience) to get the slideout awnings?

We appreciate any input to help us make our decisions. Thanks.

Get the bed room ac you never know when you are going to need it, Even if you go north for the summer. Get the slide toppers keeps all the pinecone needles and acorns from collecting on the top of the slide, plus I feel it is helpful on rain removal, I would not get a unit with out them

I highly recommend the BR ac. I live in south Georgia and it would be miserable without it in our 36SB even though we also got the polar package. Small price to pay for the insurance.

The bedroom ac is a worthy option

for what it's worth I would get the thermo-paine windows, well worth the investment, we are looking at some new units and you will find most upscale units have the better windows, as far as the 2nd A/C unit get it, I had a 15k put in the bedroom, not alot more than a 13.5K, better to have it than wish you did, I spent a month in mine in August in Myrtle Beach and both A/C units ran all day and all nite......

our 2011 Seville came with the PolarTec insulation, the thermopane windows (nicely tinted) and the dual air (15K in the rear, 13.5K in the front). Since we got ours already kitted out by the factory, what it had on it was both the Executive Camping and Touring packages as well as the thermopane windows.

2nd a/c is a must, slide toppers are great. but the thermo pane windows are a waste of money in the seville. 1200-1800 $ option--will never pay for their selves. with the factory tint on the seville windows very little heat gets in or out. do order the upgraded insulation package well worth the $$$$$$.

Yes, it is well known that the thermopane windows do not provide a large R Value increase.

Most people buy them for the noise isolation and the fact they reduce condensation on the inside of the windows.

I have talked to many seasoned RVersthat have had RVs with and without thermopane windows and they say they would not be without them.

Most RV Sales people tell me you do not need them since they do not carry them on their lot, I tend to listen to people using the product as opposed to listening to a salesperson.
