Dealer just called - my new Seville 35RL was broke into and trashed, tv stolen, stereo stolen, lots of other stuff severely damaged.
We were planning on picking up from dealer on April 6th, to start using for vacations planned - now don't know if it will be repaired and items replaced by that time.
What's this world coming to ?????????????????????

sorry to hear that. kinda takes the shine off a new trailer. it might be worth refusing the trailer and wait for a new one. maybe crossroads can speed up delivery for you. i would think that the dealer should supply you with a loaner or help with money you might be out because of cancelled vacation plans.good luck.

Sorry to hear that. Some people are just ignorant. Do they have security cameras at the dealer?

Maybe go to the dealer and look at the damage and see if you would want that unit. Maybe even look for something that you wanted and that unit does not have and use that as a reason not to take it.

Ouch! Â*I'm truly sorry to hear that. Â*Whether you decide to take the unit or not, I hope you're able to complete your vacation plans.

I would go look the camper over for yourself. If the damage is too bad then refuse delivery and have Crossroads see if they have a unit somewhere that has the same features/colors.
A unit of this cost is not something you want to accept "repaired". It should be new and the dealer carries insurance for these types of unfortunate events.

that's a bummer... Stuff being stolen is one thing, stuff being trashed is another. If you don't own it I would ask for another or walk. I would also write down the vin in case the dealer tells you "found another" a few weeks later.

Totally agree with Michael. Can only imagine how diappointed you guys are right now. Please keep us updated on this Doug, but if you haven't taken possession, I'd demand another unit as this will always be on your minds.

Maybe the dealership can give you a rental trailer to use for your vacation and then deal with your trailer when you return. Vacations are hard to come by at times and that is why we all make plans for them. Unreal. Sorry to hear about this...

Talk about having your hopes and dreams dashed. I'm sorry to hear about this. When we were shopping for a trailer we went to one dealer that had just had a major break in....all the new trailers had their door locks pried open, flat screens stolen and dvd players gone. Too bad the dealer didn't have a night guard with a shot gun!

"Story is" 40 + trailers broke into with all TV's and stereos taken.
Cameras showed license covered on trucks. Professional hit team.
Security guy was distracted intentionally at time of breakins.
?????????????? inside job ???????????????????????
Haven't been there yet to see damage - will go Monday or Tuesday next week.

That's bull$%^&, a punch of losers are to lazy to work but don't have a problem running around stealing. Just another reason why the electric chair should be used more often.

I need a phone number and a good person to call at CrossRoads.
My local RV dealer stated today, after I called him to ask about status of repairs and replacement, that they were not going to cover repairs and replacements and wanted my insurance information. ( I have insurance on it.)
I also asked about letter I got from MN license bereau stating they could not issue title as they have not received bank release from RV dealer. (No response.)
I paid for trailer complete in January and still have not received title, license, keys, and other required paperwork.
Now they say its not their trailer because I paid for it.
Acceptance of unit has not occurred - was to be April 6th - now pushed out until April 14th.
I WAS LIED TO REPEATEDLY TODAY BY RV DEALER - AND NOW I AM PISSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need to find out exactly what brands, models, and sizes of original equipment, so dealer does not replace with junk from WalMart as they originally stated they would.
Any suggestions with helpful ideas would be greatly appreciated by us.

oldman, I know it will cost a few dollars, but I believe it would be in your best interest long term to secure legal representation. If you do not have a lawyer that you have worked with before, then call your BBB or ask some friends. The fact that the unit was vandalized while still in possession of the dealer is a matter unto itself, but the ramifications that would be evident if the dealer has not paid the bank to release the title, could present an entirely different scenario. I believe you need to get yourself protected. IMHO . I really hate that you have to deal with all of this, but sometimes it happens (speaking from experience).

Did you give the dealer your insurance information?

I agree with delqcc. I think you need legal representation. I hope you didn't give up the insurance information. It sounds like they either don't have insurance or they don't have enough insurance to cover all units and want to use your insurance.
