The awning outlet is the only outlet I have to use on the outside, unless we open the storage doors. Can someone tell me if they have installed a outside outlet?

We have a 2009 Cruiser 29ck. I was able to drill a hole below the outlet the same size as a computer desk cable entery connecter. The extension cord is passed through the hole and the compartment door can remain closed or open as required. When not in used the plastic cable entery connector has a cover on it that can be slide into place covering the opening. These can be bought at most places that sell computer accessories. ( Wall Mart, Best Buy, Staples, Lowes, etc)

jaallen1,

I installed a outside recpt between the entry door and compartment door. The breaker box had a spare 15 amp breaker that I used but later replaced it to a 20 amp. If you remove the breaker boxfrom the wall you can see where all the wires come through. If you then remove the access panel there is a dead space you wont be able to get through the hole but fish the wires. Make sure you find studs before cutting hole for box on the outside. I cut mine with a jig saw I marked for the elect. box and used tape around it so the base of the saw would't scratch the siding. This should be a peice of cake for you after all the mods you did.

Cajun TBoy, thanks for informing me on how to accomplish the outside recpt. I will also go to your mods and review the pictures.
