Just say my first other Kingston Friday afternoon by Silver Lake on California Hwy 88. Maybe we should schedule a Norhtern Calif. camp-in?

Great; I'm in a small park in Wellington NV until I retire in April. After that, well Katie bar the door; my wife and I are going to be on the road and it would be great to meet up with some other Kingston owners. I also have a 30sb and we love it.

We are thinking about a road trip next spring to Northern California. Maybe we could all three get together for a rally....imagine THREE Kingstons in the same place at the same time! We had a 30sb and decided we need more room so now we have this big tank. The only difference is squeezing it into some of the campgrounds and swinging a little wider on the corners. Not sure I want to drag this thing thru the Sierra mountains. Last time we were out there we tore a hole in the roof...I think from branches hangout out over the road. Back to topic, I really don't understand why there isn't more Kingstons on the road. We have had Alumascape, Cedar Creek, Carriage, Designer and I would still rate this Kingston up there with all of them. We looked at the prices for a Cruiser and there wasn't that much difference to go to a Kingston (if you shop around a little). Back to reality...gonna wintersize this weekend....Minnesota may have 10,000 lakes but they are frozen over 50% of the time.

That sounds like a great idea; there are lots of places in the Sierra foothills where you don't have to pull the beast over a 9000ft pass. I went by a park in Plymouth, Ca. on Hwy49 this past weekend and there were 7 or 8 Carriage parked in a row. That looked like fun was a-coming!

I'm game. In fact, Ed if you want to do something before spring we can as well. We do a lot of camping this time of year as the crowds are thining out (this weekend is Truckee, and next weekend is Lotus/coloma).

The park in Plymouth would be good as it is close to 50. There is also Tahoe or Truckee that have nice RV parks.

Yes, come west where it is warmer. If you stick to 50 or 80, shouldn't have any problems with attacking trees. They have been doing major paving on 80 this summer, so it should be in pretty good shape. We're off to Truckee this weekend.

It will be hard for us to do anything before spring as I'm putting in 50 hours a week at work. Also; I'm heading back east next month to see my granddaughter.

We'd be up for that in the fall. We're headed east in 3 weeks to pick up our new Kingston at the dealer nearest the factory, then to the east coast, but will be back in S. AZ by early Oct. A Kingston rally on the southern left coast about then would work just fine for us.
