I have not been here in a while. Has the forum changed? What happened to all the other postings.

Anyway I wanted to follow up on post I had before about the fresh water tank fill. I have it with the dealer and they have seen that the supply tube/pipe deflects up before going down to the tank so they are cutting the tube to make it go down hill from the fill point.

I also asked him to check that the tank was below the the fill point.

When I pick it up I'll get the full report.

The service place southwest RV found the water fill tube too long so the run went up from the fill port before going down to the tank. He did look at the fill port height relative to the tank and found it to be OK i.e. above the top of the tank.

He fixed it by cutting the tube shorter to get a better run. I have not tried it yet but they did to make sure it was OK.

Hope this helps

I got tired of complaining to the dealer. I made a small piece of hose to attach to the fill hose with no end on it so I can stick it way down into the fill pipe. Seems to have worked.

Well here is an update on the fill. With a normal hose adaptor it fills better than it did before the mod but it still seems to be coming up short on volume (always 3 lights not 4). I aught to devise a method of easy measurment then I can be sure how much is in there.

Most of the time we camp we make sure we are near water so I can fill up. 250ft of hose has come in use. The wind up flat hoses are the best for speedy deployment.
