As most here I run my at max (80 psi Load Range E) The side of your tire will give you the max psi to run. However, that is when the tire is cold. The temperature is the most important factor when looking at tire pressure. That is why you check them before you drive off. Driving down the road will cause the temp of the tire to rise and so will the pressure and that is normal. I have seen mine go as high as 95 when driving across the desert and just a tad over when driving in cooler areas. I know this may be long to your question but it is important that you do not let air out while on the road. Your tire problem earlier could make you super defensive so that will not happen again.
Hope all is well and things are being taken care of
