I don't think I needed a oil burner, I didn't think I need leather, I didn't think I wanted 4x4. And I didn't. I have a friend who bought a plain jane for f-250 5 speed that he towes with, It works for him but boy am I glad I have all of the above. Every one needs or wants something a little different thats why they make them like that.

I hope no one is actualy going to say that their gas motor is as good as an oil burner??? I would have to call BS on that one. Needed I will not argue that.

UPDATE: Well fellow crossroads RVers...I finally bought a new/old truck! It is a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 extended cab DurAL combo with 65000 kilos on it (about 40000 miles) and its "pleasing to the eye" Nothing fancy but it does the trick and so far is running great.
Thanks for all your advice and good wishes Ken

I guess you will have to snowbrid it now, and bring it by to show it off. I saw 10 rigs parked at the local flying J this morning. Leave now and advoid the rush

Fhenn,
I can't do it this winter (although the bug will be biting to go as soon as the first snowflake hits the ground). I am working BUT next spring I should be able to give her a good run. I know I have it all backwards and should be heading south now but I think I can put up with one more winter and barring any problems we will be hitting the "Flyin J's along the way" come spring when the cherry blossoms are blooming LOL
