Hello everyone!
I thought I would share the RV Mods I completed while we were out camping this weekend. I added LED 'mood' lighting to the outside kitchen of our 25RB and utilized a couple T-nuts to stabilize the swivel TV and fireplace. You can check out the pics HERE. There are some brief descriptive comments attached to each pic in the slideshow.

I found the inspiration for the LEDs at an RV show last fall and thought it would be a nice quick project. As far as the swivel TV/Fireplace Mod... I kept looking at the amount of slack the locking pin had in the bare wood holes and thought there had to be a solution.

Happy Camping!

I posted a comment on one of the pics. I have the exact same camper and I also do not like how its just a drilled hole for the pins. I would like to add LED lights to my kitchen area. I am installing the T nuts the next time I go to Home Depot. Great job!!

I added a LED light strip around the interior of my outdoor kitchen, looks super cool at night.

Great job! How hard was it to fish the wires through the ceiling? I figured it had foam insulation. I also noticed above your fridge you have a shelf. Did you add that as well?

The wires were easy enough to fish with a length of ridgid wire. I ran the wires from the switches up the corner of the cabinet into the ceiling space where I tied into the light fixture and fed the LEDs.

The ceiling space has no insulation and there was plenty of extra factory wire laying up there to pull down to make the connections and stuff it back in the ceiling.

The shelf came installed from the factory.

I purchased them on Ebay, thousands to choose from. I opted for the waterproof ones. Mine also has the shelf from the factory. I didn't want mine to be permanent so I just plug them in. I mounted all the hardware and remote with double sided velcro tape, and the LED's themselves have 3M tape to adhere. I mounted them just inside the lip so you can't see them unless real close up, they make for a real nice look at night and get a lot of attention.

You guys are killing me. I have a trip planned in May at Fort Wilderness in Disney. I need to step it up with my projects.
