Just inside the door of my CF30QB there was a tiny door on a small compartment for shoes or whatever, but way too small to be really useful. So I removed the side of the cabinet from the exterior wall to the back of the kitchen drawers, made up a new face frame & put is some shelves. The opening is now 19" wide & the full height of the cabinet with room for lots of shoes.

Then with the plywood left over from the cabinet side, I made another spice rack that goes above the top drawer where there was just a filler panel.

DW is VERY pleased.
