Hey folks

Need a little help. Our basement door has three latches. 2 thumb latches on the outside and a 751 lock in the middle.

Well for some reason, the middle one does catch, it's like the front got torked or twisted...so my work around was to install two locks on the outside and just leave the center as non working.

If they made an offset cam about 1/4 longer it would catch the back of the lip on the door.

Does anyone have any idea where I can find a longer cam to make this work?

Thanks

You may find something at a local office supply store, or try this site; they have a number of Cam Locks with various cam lengths.

I think any lock shop should have different lenghts of cams. I recently put some push button latches to replace the cam latches on our Sunset Trail. They work great. I left the cam lock in the center hole.
