Backsplash

Thought I would post todays project. I have always hated our factory splash since it was not continuous. It was time to rip it out today. Installed a nice ceramic with crushed glass inlay.

Very nice job. What did you use as the adhesive?

That looks very nice! We applied peel and stick back splash tiles with a somewhat similar design two years ago.

Are they staying in place ok? We've looked at these, but I've seen comments on Facebook RV sites that they will not stay on the wall.

So far so good! We have put a lot of miles on the trailer since putting them in, including a 10,000 mile trip to Alaska and back. We have also towed in all kinds of temperatures, and we use the trailer all year. We winter in Florida with it.

Like Loneoak ours has been staying put just fine and has been through cold and hot weather and across some bumpy roads. I think the big thing for getting them to stay put is the prep. We cleaned the wall down good with a mild cleaner to make sure there wasn't any grease or dirt on the wall. Then used a primer made specifically for self adhesive floor tile on the wall. Our tile is stuck to the wall so good that if you try to pull it off you are going to be pulling the wall covering right off with it.

Looks nice, we had a good chuckle walking through the local home store this past month saw nearly the same back splash on display but it was real instead of the wallpaper one in our unit
