Bathroom countertop upgrade

Has anyone upgraded their countertop and sink in the bathroom? We have the RV in for repairs because water got left on in bathroom and the formica/pressboard countertop swelled and has to be replaced. I think I'm going to take the RV to a place that does countertops and have either a one piece solid surface sink & counter or do a solid surface with an undermount sink. Okay, so I take full responsibility for the water accident but why would they use press board anywhere near a sink and why doesn't Crossroads have upgrade options? Oh and why don't bathroom sinks have pop up drain stoppers instead of that piece of plastic that does not have an open position! Rant over, sorry

Sounds like a good idea to get a one piece top and sink. I'd go with it.

We took out part of the wall in ours between the bedroom and bath to open it up and rebuilt the vanity and got a new top with under mount sink. Gives us a lot more counter than the original. Wasn't to hard to do.
