Best Vent/Rain Covers to Install over Factory Vent Fans???
Looking to purchase Vent Covers to go over the factory vent fans on the TT. I have seen some forum posts, over 6 years old, discussing the topic, but haven't seen any discussing what is currently on the market.
Mainly looking to keep vent open and not have to worry about rain and excess dirt from entering camper.
I put the MaxXAir one on mine, you can get them at any Campingworld. Takes 20 minutes to screw it onto the exterior top flange of the existing installation.
I'm happy with mine, keeps the rain out and helps insulate the bathroom.

I think it cost about $25.00
I agree with Biggles, that way when you upgrade the fan you will not have to change the cover... I need to do both.
Yes to maxxair and no to camco one...had a camco and both broke down with the sun rays .

For those who endorse MaxxAir, which model is better? The original or MaxxAirr II?
The regular Maxx Air works for the vents with small fans or no fans. If you have the fantastic fan or The Maxx Air fan, you’ll need the Maxx AirII. My Fantastic fan will hit the top of the vent cover when opened in auto, but stops at that point. This will not cause damage when it does this. The Maxx Air vent covers are great and easy to install.

Looking for any practical advice and experience.
The Maxxair are great. I put one on both the bathroom and bedroom vents. One thing to consider is light-we put a black one in the bedroom. It does not transmit any light. Even the screen is black. Keeps the bedroom nice and dark for sleeping, while still allowing airflow.
...What these guys said... I just installed 2x of these Maxxair covers on my Camper.
They are a pretty quality item and it's fairly simple and straightforward to install.
