I have a 2016 Cruiser 5th wheel that comes equipped with a welded 2 inch receiver on the rear of the trailer. It is very solid. For taking the bicycles along, I opted for a platform style bicycle carrier from 1UPUSA. Their receiver mount hitch is quite expensive, but is very sturdy, does not require any ties or straps to the trailer, and they have a quite cleaver mount in the receiver that makes it less likely to be stolen. The receiver attachment clamp also makes it virtually rattle free. Since the bikes are on the back of the trailer, and out of sight while traveling, I decided that the extra cost for the sturdy platform hitch was worthwhile, as I have NO concerns about the bikes getting loose or falling off while traveling. I use a 12 foot cable and lock to add to my piece of mind when I am parked to have a better chance of the bikes not getting wander lust...

We took our bikes to Myrtle Beach last month hooked to our trailer with this SARIS rack. I have taken them on 3 trips and that one was over 1700 miles and no problems. I like the fact the tires lock in and don't spin. I have a 2" bolt on hitch receiver I turned it upside down and with this rack it gives a nice lift on the bikes. https://www.google.com/search?q=sahr...r2kG6Bh_T0M%3A

The rack looks good and secure. The bases appear to be fairly close together. Is there enough space so the handle bars on each bike don't hit?

I use 4 bike frame mounted Thule racks, secured to 2x4 in the bed of my truck. Thy don't move at all, and are locked in so they wont get stolen.

Years ago we modified our Cruiser to hold a Saris bike rake. We were careful not to void the warranty or stress the back bumper.
It's still holding up with over 9,000 miles on it:
