We are full timers. RV park is getting really busy. Hard to find the right time to hit the laundry when its not busy. Looking for your experience with the RV/ apartment style . I do know I don't want a combo washer/dryer same unit. Looking at Home Depot. Thanks Gary

I have read about a lot of people buying "stacked" units from Lowes, Home Depot, Sears etc.and installing them in their units. As long as they fit the opening and the dryer is 110v any of them should work. We intend to have a stacked W/D in our next unit.

We have a Maytag front loader and a GE DRYER in our Hampton. The washer vibrates on the spin cycle. If I had it to do over, I would have bought a one piece stack unit.

Why not mark the water outlets correct in laundry closet. With blue and red handles. Not two red handles...lol...now need to take off access panel to see which is hot and cold. Another blunder Crossroads. Vent done.

Gary, neither of ours are marked. Just two clear pipes with two black handles.

Keith, we have front loader Whirlpool washer & dryer. They both work great. Make sure your installer, does nothook upthe whole 10' of the dryer hose. The 1st time we used the dryer, it burned up & had to be replaced. After it burned up, I found the hose was so crammed in the closed, that it could only vent out of a 1/2" hole. One of the many thing my dealer did.

It appears some are installing standard units, I know on my household front load washers it says to re-secure the inside drum before moving. So we want to know do we need to continue looking at RV grade WD's or not.

Thanks

finally found some free time to post pics of washer install.

If your cutting the dryer vent hole. Be careful. This is where it was marked to be drilled.
