Does anyone know if just the outside fiberglass skin on the entrance door on the 30sk can be replaced without changing the whole door? My son accidently punctured a 2 inch hole in it. It is located almost in the center of the door.
If you feel up to a DIY project, you might want to think about purchasing a fiberglass repair kit at your local auto store, patching the whole and spray painting the door. A lot less labor and significantly less money.
Yes could probably get by with that. But am still wondering what would the cost be to replace it. One problem though is to replace the stickers. It is an 07 model and will probably not match with the colors.
By examining the existing damaged area, you should be able to tell if the skin is glued to the styrofoam core or not. But my guess is that it is glued and reskinning is not practical. So it is either replace the entire door or fiberglas patch.
