What do you use to block the sunshine from coming thru the entrance door window? Have seen some use what looks like stained glass,but never had a closeup look and am not sure that would reduce the heatgain...summertime is here in Louisisana, whew!...
Camping World sells a shade made of what appears to be foil covered bubble wrap. It is held in place by Velcro type fasteners. The shade is just the right size but I find the fasteners to be lacking in holding ability. Edited by: artgpo

I use the same stuff that Artgpo uses. Works great and keeps the sun out. However, it blocks the window and you are unable to look out. But it is easy to move as the sun passes over to the other side.

Ditto to Art and George. We haven't had any problems with it coming off the velcro fasteners. Most of the time we have the door open so don't have any dimished light problems. When the door's closed we don't even notice. Guess you get used to anything over time.
We kind of like to have the door for the light that it lets in but on hot days we also like the A/C going in the trailer. I put plexiglass panels on the screen door to let the light in and leave the heat outside. It works great whether it's hot or cold outside.
