Yes,
The Mrs. purchased a convection microwave that was close to the right size and an Atwoods three burner cooktop that bolts on the top.
Removal of the old equipment was a few screws and the propane line (the microwave was a few screws and a 110 VAC line).
Installation of the new equipment had multiple steps:
- Run power from the old microwave port to the convection microwave
- Build up the base for the new convection/microwave stack
- Install the convection/microwave, plug it in and install trim that would cover up the hole. Mine was a 110 VAC cord and several screws in the faceplate.
- The Atwood top has four or five screws into the countertop and the propane line. Check the connection with soapy water with the propane running.
- Find a nice way to finish the inside of the old microwave opening and find a door that covers the opening.
