I have a sunset trail, 2013 that has always had a door that was hard to latch. I tried adjusting the latch several times, adjust the strike plate etc. No luck. In order to get the latch to catch you had to pull the door a little harder from the inside, or push it after closing from the outside and it would catch.
As I lay in bed, (In the Colorado Rockies) last week I figured out the issue. The door was a bit warped. So all I did was put a 2x4 in the top latch side corner, the same in the bottom. I closed the door to hold the boards in place and gently nudged the door a couple times right in the middle at the handle. This straightened out the door and now it closes perfect. Nice and smooth.
Just a tip for those who may have the same issue.

I have the same problem and tried adjusting the plate too, to no avail . I will do your suggestion. And the door frame has a sticker that states that the door has been adjusted by someone at the factory , his initials are there also. hmmmm

another job to be done by the owner..
