Has anyone moved the dining room table???

I would like to move my table. It is located in the slide, and screwed down to the floor.
I just want to move it about 6 inches...

It will help members to answer your question if you post the make, model and year of your camper. If you put it in your sig. it will always be there for any future questions you might have.

I have moved mine on every camper I’ve owned. As long as you use the same bracket and screws you will be fine. I agree with Lloyd for you to put your make, model and year of your camper in your signature.

I agree just use the same screws and you should be fine. Just watch if you move away from the wall you have clearance when you close the slide -don't ask me how I know

And since its been said already to add your year make and model I wont say it again to add your year make and model.
But it does help others to help you better if we know what you are working on.

I guess I was replying while you were. On mine they were square drive and I just used them again after I moverd the table. As for the carpet the wife just used the vacuum cleaner it has a beater bar brush and it fluffed the carpet back up where the table was setting.

I agree. It’s just wood screws and the carpet fluffs back up.

Be careful if using an drill/driver when installing the screws. They often catch on the threads of the carpet and makes a show-able pull in the carpet. When putting a screw into carpet, I heat up a nail and melt the carpet trying to avoid the carpet pull.

I re-Moved mine. The wife decided she'd rather have another sofa. I think it was four wood/drywall type screws to take the table out and then I had to remove the tie downs for the chairs.

Does anyone need a new table and chairs? I'd make them a deal...

Actually we had turned ours last fall to try it long ways with the window. Wife decided today she wanted it moved back to its original spot before we head to the coast in April. So this evening it was move table (again) day. So this even I moved it back. Took longer to get the cordless drill and move the slide out then to unscrew turn and screw the table back down.

I had to have my table leveled when it was new but I took it to the dealer and let them do it. My table comes all the way to island in the middle so I can’t move it

Our table is oval and I like to turn it for use and turn it back when traveling or not in use. We removed the screws and left them out. We added u-bolts to the wall on each side of the table and run a bungee around the table for travel. We just hook the bungee to the u-bolts in the wall. Works great.
