I want to install a flip-up counter extension on the end of the kitchen cabinet. Our stove is on the end and the paneling has little or no bracing. The 1/8th inch panel gives me nothing to screw the brackets into. I'd like to pull the stove out and put in some 2x4's behind the paneling. Has anyone had any experience pulling the stove? How is the gas connected ? The inverter is below...does that just slide out or ?????

It obviously wasn't a deal-breaker but there is virtually NO counter space....we'd like some space for the coffee-maker/toaster/Gin/Tonic and the DW's Cosmo fixin's!

I'm sure its like everything else in the camper and is held in by a few screws.Should just be a gas line to disconnect.I had a extension put on a camper once and they braced the thin wall with a 3/4 inch piece of plywood that covered the entire back of the panel. It held up well until traded 5 years later.
