My 19 ft. Crossroads has no apparent way to flush the black water tank . Is there something I have missed? There is nothing on the exterior to allow a water supply into the blackwater tank.

I have thought of using my fresh water tank operated on battery at the dump station to clean the black water tank after it is emptied. Does this make sense?

I don't know if your unit is equipt with a flush system, but if it isn't, a Flush King is the best way IMHO to clean your black tank. Here is the CW page.

I have found that if you keep plenty of water in the tank, additional flushing isn't really necessary. If my tank sensor starts messing up I will rinse the tank when I get home. I bring a hose & high pressure nozzle into the bathroom, open up the flush valve, and let'r rip. Cleans up any residual stuff in the lower toilet also.

Thanks for the advice. All of it is good!! I will have to decide which to follow. I guess the easiest would be to keep plenty of water in the tank. The Flush King is something I would definitely be interested in. I do not kike to empty anything at home because I live in a residental community and would be run out of town.
