I know this subject has been covered before but thought I'd add a couple of comments about the install I just did.

It took about six hours with a few cups of coffee and lunch thrown in. I also ended up with a sore back and knees but I'll recover.
Patrick warned me about the gas pipe being in the way and he was right. I solved that with a couple of larger conduit clamps that had longer tails.

I ended up just attaching the front cross stabilizers to the steel floor in the basement. It feels pretty strong, I think it will be OK.
I also ran into a problem in with the rear scissor jacks. They were mounted at a 45 degreeangle and that put the stabilizer directly in line with a white plastic drain hose coming from the water pump.

Instead of mounting the stabilizer to the rear bolt of the jack like the instructions said I mounted it to the front bolt. It now clears just fine and feels very solid.
The trailer is now rock solid and my DW is very happy as am I I really appreciate everybody’s help and good tips, it made the job go a lot easier.
