Lock pin fix
My 270bh has a TV that rotates for viewing and I have an outside pull out cooktop and sink. Both feature a steel pin that keeps the TV and the pull out locked in place. The pin however simply passes through a hole drilled in the wood and there is wear and play in both after only a few months. I found a good solution to this which looks great, eliminates the wear and takes the play out.
Easton make an arrow insert out of aluminum which is glued in to the arrow shaft to which you screw in the point. These standard arrow inserts fit perfectly in the wood hole that's factory drilled for the pin and the pin slides perfectly into this aluminum insert making for a snug an professional looking finish. You need to cut the insert off just before the start of the inner thread, slide in wood hole with a dab of glue and you are done. Inserts are available at any sporting goods store. Hope this helps those who have this issue. For the TV I put them in both top and bottom wood holes taking all the play out.
