I too use Amazon. If you get the Amazon Prime, you save on shipping. I have found lots of items at better prices than our local rv store.

The only thing is---you have to have a lot of shipping to pay for the Amazon Prime.

Everything is 2nd day shipping which is convient and also costly if you pay out of pocket.
You also get the Amazon Prime Movie streaming which includes lots of free movies and TV shows. If you do a fair amout of purchasing it can work out for you. Like anthing it pays to price compare.

I just received an order of a sewer hose, clear elbow and tri-leveler from Amazon today. I place the order on March 11 and the normal shipping was free. Spending $25 or more can usually get you free shipping as long as you can wait a few days to get the order.

Prime also includes free movies and tv shows on demand, similar to Netflix. For us, paid for itself in a couple months without buying a thing.

All of the movie download stuff is fine if you have unlimited downloads. I'm on satellite and have a limit and it doesn't take many movies to exceed the limit, like 3-4 of the HD.
No thanks.

Our local cable provider provides free computer access from anywhere for Premium channels such as HBO and Cinemax.

We have cable, Netflix, chromecast and red box (Friday is usually movie night for us). We have had trouble getting chromecast to work well at our house. Netflix doesn't stream well all the time because we do have some signal issues (working on that), red box is super cheap but can be a pain if you really want a specific movie.

It helps to reserve online then pick -up. What version of windows you run matters with Chrome Cast.

We feel the Amazon Prime is worth the yearly fee as we watch lots of movies via the streaming wi-fi in our home. We haven't tried it, but when we get on the road we are going to try and use this feature with our hot spot on our laptop computer. We should be able to play through the dvd player. We have already paid for our Prime in the first 3 months. I purchase a lot from Amazon, e-books, music, coffee, camping supplies and more.

You might check the amount of download you are allowed on the laptop. My wife's Iphone is allowed 5GB/month before they start charging a bunch.

Check out Amazon Prime. They are going to raise their yearly rates up pretty high.

It's only going up $20 which if you buy a few things a month is a great deal even if you don't use the streaming video.

Prime also gives discounts over non prime pricing. I just bought a bluetooth speakerphone for my wifes van it was $89.00 + $6 for shipping but $69.99 and free shipping with prime.

Still works out to be a killer deal for me.
