Last year I gave a trick to get mood lighting with two 12 volts lights in series. Dont try this with LEDS it dosent work. You need at least 15.7 volts to start them, 12 volts is not enough. .......I know I installed them with the good po;larity no deal.

I replaced all 40 bulbs in my RV to LED, saving about 600Watts and the RV stays cooler inside.
I bought the LED on Ebay from dt-autotech</span> at very reasonable price.
$ 4.- for one LED.
Works great, about the same light output.

Hello hbrand,

Which RV do you have? Also, the link you provided goes to a feedback page. Could you give us the link to the LED bulbs that you purchased? Did you get all the same regardless of room or location in RV? Any info in helpful as we want to change out some of ours, especially the ones on the beds as the "sunburn" is too much.

TIA

I have sunset trail 28bh
Here the link to the LED's

</a>

With those I now have about the same light but without 700 watts of heat.
I also modified the bunk bed area so it is getting more cooler in there.
Then I installed Intelli level for the front
Also have remote level indicator.
Also installed 2 much better speakers in living room.
Now I am ready for the first time to take here out.
Only problem I have is reversing the fifth wheeler.

Maybe you could hire a driver just for backing up.

I love the LEDs - my 335ss has them, plus the few that were not LEDs have been replaced. They reduce the thermal load on the AC inside the trailer, plus as an added bonus, they reduce the electrical load on the power supply - which is a bonus when you are dry camping..

This is a place in Arizona that makes them and they are all US made. Lifetime warranty and great company. They can answer all of your questions and should you be in the area of Quartzsite, AZ when they have their RV show this will be one of the vendors that is there. http://www.rvledbulb.com/
