MORryde steps....

Anyone upgraded to the MORryde StepAbove trailer steps? We've been looking at new fifth wheels, and these steps are great! We've decided we can do lots of upgrades to our Rushmore instead of a new fifth wheel. These are definitely in our future!

I just installed the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution steps.

They store in place of original steps.

Wow, they're pretty proud of their steps, are they really worth the price?

The MORryde steps are rigid. Raise up and latch inside the door. Cost around $300. I weigh over 250.....they didn't flex a bit.

Torquelift also makes a step that does not self store much like the MORryde step.
Both in function and price.

The rigid ones sound good to me, but I've heard two complaints:

If you park in a tight spot, like at home or storage lot, the steps need a larger area to deploy and may not fit extended.

If there is dirt or water on the steps when you store them, that substance will now be in your trailer.

Good points....but we don't store the rv, and I believe DW won't mind a little mess if she can get in easier.
