Motorized Window Shades

Has anyone ever put motorized window shades in a 5th wheel? I'd like to replace some of the large shades with something easier to raise & lower. I've tried adjusting the strings but no luck.

Suggestions?

Ours has roller shades/screens & they are great, work similar to old fashioned Venetian blinds only dual, one night time shade one screen.
They're by Irvine Shades, you can look them up online.

The only motorized shade we have in the coach is the front windshield shades...
All are MCD shades and their home office is here in DFW area so went by their facility for some tuneups - they were great - even had electricity for overnight stays!
I HATED the pleated shades, LOVE the rollers shades !

I looked up Irvine Shades & MCD. Those both look good. The rollers would work well on ours. There is one shade behind a reclining love seat in a slide out that might be better powered as it’s hard to raise now. The roller shades would probably be easier to operate one handed.

Just curious, is the bottom fastened for travel or do you just leave them up?

We normally open them or the bouncing down the road they raise by themselves.
They're a 300% improvement over those POS pleated shades.

i put velcro behind each shade so the bouncing is not banging as they swing and we leave them where we want them... and they never retract unless we didn't set them.
but usually leave them up so we can see out and the return springs are not always extended.
