Mounting for kayak on back of Sunset Trails?

I am hoping to mount a 10 ft kayak on the back of my Sunset Trails Grand Reserve 26BB.

Anyone with suggestions/ you have done this? / thinking of using the ladder fro top end and building a bracket off the spare tire bracket for center and making a modification to my Propane Grill rack for the bottom.

Experience?

Thanks,

cliffshot

We purchased this kayak/ bike rack from rvkayakracks.com last year and love it! It mounts in the 2” receiver on the back of our cruiser aire 28se. We have two bikes and two 12’ kayaks. Probably traveled 8-9k miles with no issues. Quality product and great customer service.

Cameo Fifth Wheel

You need to have the heavy duty class three 2" receiver and the RV Kayak Rack is super heavy duty and works great on Fifth wheels.. It has a clamp block included that stopped any wobble. The ladder is way over on the other side. They look great and you will be asked about it everywhere you go..

How much clearance is there between the bottom of the carrier and the road? Pic might be a tad deceiving but almost looks dangerous to the kayaks to turn into a parking lot with any elevation change..

On ours the clearance is 13”. Bottomed out a couple times but the great thing about this rack it they have metal skid plates so the kayaks do not get damaged.
