Pretty sure all floors on our RV’s are vinyl, some look pretty realistic though with wood grain patterns. I don’t know if you could double up on it without causing issues with the slides.

That is a great question, I have a bolt coming up through the floor and have been wondering what will happen when I cut the vinyl to re-bolt whatever is unbolted.

Take yours to a flooring store and have the installer cut the flooring at an imajinary "grout line" ,fix the bolt and he will reglue .

Not sure what the clearance is. I put down carpet squares last fall and the slide left no marks on them.

Really depends on how much clearance you have, when the slide slides in. I put new flooring in our last one. It was the third new floor, over the two old ones.

I put a piece of the new flooring, on the floor, in front of the slide. Ran the slide in and out. It didn't touch it. No problem. Went ahead and installed the new floor. Didn't have any problems after it was installed. Was there until I sold it.

Sheet or Tile

We discussed installing a vinyl tile floor in the RV with our dealership service technician. He informed us know that we needed to use a sheet product due to the flexing of the RV.
Last summer we met up with old friend that had a tile (wood) installed in the Mobile Suites RV and were very unhappy that the seams of their new flooring were opening.
DW is undecided.
