Did you do this yet? We are wanting to do the same, lose a bit of cabinet space under the sink area.

We installed a TV Hatch

The attach pictures show the hatch installed under our Kitchen window. Lost 7 inches of unusable cabinet space under the sink. This hatch will hold a 29 inch TV.

Built a frame around the opening with 1.5 x 1.5 wood and then screwed the hatch into the surrounding frame, then sealed with silicone. This reinforced the aluminum framing that was cut to create the opening.

Had to re-route the sink vent and move the water lines. Lost the 7 inches in the trash can compartment, but changed the configuration to allow the trash can to still fit in the cupboard under the counter.

Electric and cable connection - tapped into the outside connections and ran the wiring over to the TV hatch from under the frig, behind the furnace and into the TV compartment.

Looking forward to football season! Very happy with this addition!

Crobyn; That is an awesome addition, I wonder if you could elaborate on the black plastic molding used on for your hole opening and cut-out piece. Where did you purchase it. I assume you purchased the molding, then cut the trailer opening to allow for the molding, then altered the cutout to fit the hinged part of the molding. But would really like to know where you can purchase the black trailer caseing, and cutout hinged moulding. Definitely something I would consider doing.
