Outside Kitchen Drain Mod..anyone done it?
So,
As I look to forward to Spring, I've been thinking of what mods I can do to make my life easier during our long summer trip.
The top of the list is the external drain setup on the outdoor kitchen sink Crossroads decided to go with a few years ago.
To say this is aggravating doesn't fully do it justice. My previous trailer had the sink drain right to the gray water tank. For the life of me, I can't imagine what design changes in the trailer forced them to make this "improvement". Only thought that came to mind is they've had catastrophic failures/ floods and just thought "the hell with it, just drain it to the ground".
I did tie it to the drain hose with an adapter but that requires me to carry hoses and setup that doesn't make sense for overnight stopovers during our travels.
Any-whooo, I am thinking of dropping the underbelly this spring and looking for a better, more permanent setup that ties to the waste tank.
Anyone done this?
Anyone thought about this and have ideas? I'd be happy to prototype a good idea at this point.
