We also have this unit. Very easy to use, not a lot of heat on low setting but better on high. Takes the chill out of the air. Great for grand kids marsh-mellowing. Nice feature, it doesn't make any difference which side of the fire you sit on. No Smoke to deal with and no smelly clothes once you go inside. Starting it is a little tricky, needing to stand back a bit when it lights.

Yes, it's more money to use but here in CA, more and more campgrounds don't allow wood fires due to the high fire danger.

We still have this unit but haven't used it since the propane unit.
Kinda seems sacrilegious to use propane but we're getting more use to it.
