Just got 2 new recliners for my rig. I just couldn't sit in the ones that came with the rig anymore. I bought to Catnapper's. They are the Winner series. Small enough to still be able to tuck them away to close the slide. Big and comfy to enjoy a 2 hour movie!

Did the same thing about a month ago. Ditto on the old recliners. Bought 2 Benchmaster leather euro recliners with ottomans. Real nice for relaxing to watch a movie or sleeping in if necessary (if you know what I mean).

we are going to try to raise our recliners this winter. they are ok, for now, on comfort, but way to close to the ground for tall people. Will let you know how it works.

Any problem with weight or getting them in the door?

I have a Zinger trailer and would like to put in two recliners, but am worried about the weight.

We bought two recliner/glider/rocker/swivel with matching ottoman from shopko...on sale...$69.00 each (0500 on Black Friday). We cannot find a more comfortable chair. Actually we have had about six of them now because whenever we sell our camper the new owners want the chairs. I'm not real tall but about 6'2" and most recliners do not offer sufficient leg support. The ottoman included with this chair also is a glider. They are lightweight, Circular metal base, deep side pockets on both sides for magazines, papers, etc. On our last four campers we took out the factory chairs and stored them in the basement. I know there is no prestige in telling people we bought our chairs at the cheapest place possible but when it comes to comfort you cannot improve on it. The chairs come in a variety of colors and meet our criteria for furniture that has the looks to match the comfort.

here is the link for the Benchmaster specs; http://www.benchmasterfurniture.com/sierra.html

bought them on ebay for $300 apiece, $150 cheaper than any other place (at the time).

they are really nice units, some minor assembly required, fit through door with no problem

As an added note; I'm 6'3" tall and weight 230 lbs., they are very comfortable, separate ottoman helps alot.

when I got my PP I wouldn't accept the recliners and I was given credit for them, I bought some nice leather recliners fron Lazy boy, I got the wall hugger type, very comfortable, and the backs come off so they were easy to fit thru the door...

What I really need is across the arms or widest point. If I can keep my measurement around 27&1/2" I can close my slide with my chairs side by side near the door. If wider may have to rethink a place to store a chair in transet. Thanks in advance, in no big hurry won't be buying untill we get back home in April.
