Removal of dual reclining theater seats with center console

Our fifth wheel has the dual reclining theater seats with center console. I have recently bought a futon to put in its place for added sitting and sleeping space.

Anyone have ideas on how to remove the theatre seating? Without wrecking the trailer or seats

When the foot rest is up the brackets are visible. I just have no clue where to start. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

The seats come apart into three sections. Try lifting the left seat first well holding down on the centre section. All three pieces are just held together with little tabs. Then you can carry them right out the door.

Ours also had a strap that ran underneath to keep it in place while traveling down the road. It was a pain to get it unhooked.

What are your plans for the theater seating.

Also, realize that the futon folds down from the back, so it has to be pulled out from the wall first. A jackknife sofa pulls out from the front and can sit flush to the wall.

Replacing The Furniture

We did find a solution. Our Sofa/bed and recliners the fabric was coming apart. We took the sofa bed apart and the recliners and replaced them. The problem is getting them in the door. The solution was to purchase a sofa that the backs clipped on. Once the backs were off it fit thru the door standing up. We cut down the frame of 1 sofa and took out the center sofa seat and used it as a double recliner. So check to see if the backs come off... many do today. WE went to Badcocks.
