removing dinette bench easy/hard?

Hi there

We are looking to trade in our current tt for a sunset 25rb, but hate the small dinette, dont see a option to swtich it out for free standing table and chairs, so thinking it might have to be a DIY mod.

Is the dinette screwed into the frame? or built in? worried if we decided to get it and take it out, there might not be anything behind it on the wall.

Has anyone tried this on the newer models?

From my experience and knowledge, the wall panel will be completely finished inside the dinette bench. Generally, there will be 6-8 screws securing it to the floor and a few more securing it to the wall, so when you remove it, there will be some screw holes to patch and there may be some scratches to the paneling from when the bench was set in place.

Are you thinking of ordering your camper, you might be able to order it without the dinette. Just a thought

You should be able to get what you want if you are building your unit. Demand it from your dealer.

I took the booth out of my Cruiser, took all of 15 minutes. Just a few screws and the booth fell apart when I carried it out the door.

My wife would like to replace the two dinette chairs with a bench seat in our 2017 Crossroads Rezerve 28RL. We were told that we can't purchase the dinette bench from Crossroads that the unit is built with the trailer. Does anyone have plans on building a dinette bench seat?
