Runner on the steps

image.jpg
Holding down a runner on the stairs. Using a oak dowel and an eye bolt lag screw on each end. Dowel easily removed to remove runner for cleaning.

Did the same only used expandable spring loaded curtain rods. Works great. We have two active 50 lb dogs and it stays in place.

We have vinyl outside bath so I secured the runner at the top with 2 sided carpet tape.
