Skylight Replacement?

We have made our 7th trip out in our ST300 RK. The one consistent issue has been that they installed a skylight over the kitchen area instead of an exhaust fan. Why is beyond me. When you cook it sets off smoke alarms and smokes up the trailer. Nothing against wife's cooking. So my question to my fellow campers? Can the skylight be replaced with an exhaust vent? The skylight is rectangular not square. Has anyone done this? Something I can do or need have dealer install to not void warranty?
Thanks All

Not sure if you can replace the skylight with a vent. I'm sure it's possible. But when you cook do you open the outside vent and turn on the fan above the stove?

Our 250RB has a hood vent over the stove. I'm assuming your 300 has the same. Just use that to vent smoke out.

Just bought ours and still getting it ready to go out, but we have the stove top vent. That being said, our bathroom vent with a fan is the same size as the regular roof top vents do the only issue in swapping would be running power for the fan. I am pretty sure it is 12volts.

I agree with you, I wish the kitchen skylight was a regular size vent. I would love to add a fantastic vent in that location. On a side note, there is a little tab that keeps the hood vent closed on the outside of the trailer. I forgot to open that when I first got my trailer.
