Just a little something I've been wanting to do for a while. Had P3 down under dash and kept hitting my shin on it; I can also reach the manual control without having to lean forward(should be safer in the event of an actual accident, God forbid). GPS was in the middle of the dash and would have to take my eyes off the road to see it, now peripherally, I can see the road or the GPS. Maybe not the purtiest thing in the world, but works for me.

Lynn, it looks like you have a Quadzilla Tuner, is that what it is?

Sure is Mark, it's what Keith (Good Man that he is) recommended when I was undecided.

Running the Mileage Max module with the Commander control/display.

That's a sweet set-up.

Did you install the Commander yourself? I'm thinking about going with the Quadzilla Recon XZT, the only thing that's been holding me back is drilling & tapping the exhaust. Guess I need to call around & see how much a shop would charge to do just that if I could even find somebody to do just that one thing.

It took about2 hours to install my Commander (with the XZT X2 box). That included installing the A Pillar mount, running all the wiring and tying it up and drilling and tapping the exhaust manifold. I had my BIL helping me layout all the wiring harness which did cut down on time.

What Hunter11 said!

I too was concerned about drilling/tapping the exhaust (not that I haven't drilled and tapped a few holes in my day, but that's another story). Was worried about chips getting to the turbo...just load the drill bit flukes and the tap with generous amount of grease and go slow and easy. No problems.
