This is for anyone trying to avoid groin pulls from these too tall 4x4 truck tailgates. Boy, to be 20 again!



Simply grab the step and flip it down.



Pull latch to release 2nd step.









If you don't need it or it's in your way for some reason, just pull the release,



Slide it forward and raise up.



I really like that I can remove it and leave it home while my truck is parked in a parking lot for 2 weeks out of every month.

OH so there is the problem... DodgeFord has an option for one built in the tailgate, wish I had it...

I knew you'd have to go there Chris! Yeah, a factory option would be nice, and if Ford still had the old 7.3 PS, I'd be driving that instead. But until they can decide on a long term engine solution, don't stroke it, Ram it.
