so I have a Zinger 30BH with the stock radio - worked last year Oct 11 when I put it away - when we took it out this year no nothing - it's the stocker alpine with the removable faceplace - now what should I start with for diagnostics? or should I just replace it - & how do I remove it/get to the back of it without destroying my cabinets???

any help appreciated - I love the quiet when in the woods, but when getting ready or day of leave I love to crank out the tunes

thanks again

Check fuses first. You will need to pull radio out - our Jensen has an in-line fuse behind the radio that blew this year. Round 1.5A deal from radio shack.

On most removable face units you need a special wire tool that releases the radio from its chassis. Then you can pull it out.
This is usually how they are but not sure with your model.

Correct - look for the packet of owner manuals - ours came with special handles for radio (hope you can find that stuff)

You will need to remove the trim plastic first. It should be a snap in plastic trim. With this off you can use the tools provided with the owners manual.
