I have had a couple of speakers that would occationally not work. After taking them a part and finding the cheap crimp on/plug in connectors at the speakers, I got fed up and spent a couple of hours this weekend soldering all connections in the system.

Removal of the Jensen unit is pretty easy, just snap off the outer ring and remove 4 screws.

At least now I don't have any static or non working speakers.
