Switched inside bulbs to LED

Pulled out all the hot amp drawing bulbs and replaced them with LED bulbs. Found 20 LED bulb/lamps on ebay for $34 and I'm impressed with the results. I'm now drawing with 10 fixtures what I used to draw with 1. I have another 20 on the way to finish all the storage areas, I also have all my exterior porch lights switched as well. Next plan is to order all running, brake etc LED and change those, all of those will cost right at $40. I don't understand why people change the whole light fixture when all thats needed is the bulbs. Great mod to cut 90% of my lighting amp draw.

Would you mind sharing who the vendor was? We want to change all of ours also, especially the "suntan bulbs" above the bed.

Lee/Jane, would you mind sharing which of the LEDs you got? I am trying to figure out the cool vs "whatever" the other glow was. I got more confused the more I read. Sometimes, information about new products can be overwhelming and with the price I do not want to get it wrong.

Thanks,
Jean

Mine look like a quarter and are 2000-4000 color range. Anything over the 5000 range looks flourescent/blueish to me. I'll have the info tomorrow when I get to my office and get my guys rolling.

Thanks for posting this. We just took collection of our new 3912 yesterday and have been play camping in the driveway all day. I mentioned to my wife "wow, these bulbs get hot...we should change it all to LED"....so this was a very timely post.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting the link. The prices look very good also, Now to count the number that we need. We have a couple of "decorative" fixtures that have a different bulb.

It is so nice to have such great campers who share so well.

Here's a link to what I upgraded to. They're more money, but have way more Lumens.

We really like them. They're as good as AC lights , in my opinion.

Model # K-900UPG
You have to know what you have for lens and which style plugin you have.
I also replaced the AC light fixture over the table with this.

You can get the same lights I have with more lumins but I didn't want brighter. The brighter lights have more LEDs on the board and cost about $10 more per 20. My goal was to avoid the fluorescent shadowing affect.

http://www.makariosrv.com/brilliant-...FRES7AodbD4AIQ. I considered replacing the whole fixture also. Those command electronics bulbs cost more than an entire fixture.

Yup, but the light they give off is just as good as AC lighting.
I have bought and used just about every LED bulb out there, and I've come to the conclusion--you get what you pay for.

I'm good with my purchase, my parents have had theirs over a year without a single problem and they live in their unit. My outside lights I purchased for $4 each are on the second TT in 3 years and still working, I believe I've gotten what I paid for and saved allot of money. Inside factory bulbs are to bright for my liking, the LEDs I purchased are just a little less bright like I wanted, my parents have the same type LEDs as me but with more lumins. Their OLD and need all the light they can get, not me LOL.

Just switching out the bulbs really works? We were quoted a crazy amount
to replace ours with LED lights.
