With the TPMS I do not have to check tire pressures with a pressure gauge before and during long trips. Just need to read the monitor.

But before each trip I do check that the TPMS sensors are tight and that the nuts on the metal valve stems are tight.

I have found the nuts were not tight and needed to be tightened.

I do have a question. I have a Tire Minder unit and get a little frustrated when I am getting a sensor alarm like the sensor is missing another time it may be a different sensor.
I have tried replacing sensor batteries and of course making sure they are snug and properly in place.
What's wrong with this system?

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced

I don't have the Tire Minder, I have the TST system and have no problems with it. I'm thinking you may need a booster, but I would commend you speak with a Tire Minder rep and run it by them.
