Has anyone opened up the cabinet below the tv that houses the DVD player?

We have a 31QB with the Jensen DVD player below the TV, above the sink. The player is in the middle of a space that looks to be empy on both sides. My DW thinks I should open up the space for cubby holes for remotes, and other various items.

I'm sure I'm not the first that has thought of this. Is there anything in there except the DVD and maybe the top of the light fixture over the sink? Has anyone knocked out those blank panels and made that space usable?

Since there were no responses, I post my own. The space on either side of my DVD player are completely empty. Uninstalled the DVD player, knocked the two panels out and made some panels to fashion two cubby holes, one on each side of the DVD. Figured it would be a good place to store CDs DVDs remotes etc. I can post pics (if I can figure out how) if anyone is interested.

We all like pictures . Once you start mods like this you can't stop. I have done a lot of them to make our camper ours.

You might try this, it worked for me.

I opened up the BBcodes by clicking on the blue link at the bottom of the message.
I highlighted and copied the IMG line.
Then I pasted it into the message.
Next

I opened the picture in a separate tab in my browser and copied the

URL.
I highlighted everything between the two IMG blocks being careful not to delete either "[" or "]".
Then I pasted the link into that area and there you have it, your picture!

I

don't know why but when I tried to type in the IMG code and paste the

URL in between it didn't work but doing what I did above did, go figure.
Computers, ya gotta love them

The cubby holes look fantastic, it makes you wonder why it didn't come from the factory like that.
