Water Flow with Expansion Tank

Water Flow using a 2 gallon pressure tank:
I hate it when the pump runs in the middle of the night when I am up using a small amount of water and then having the noise wake my wife and annoy the neighboring campers.
SO; I installed a 2 gallon Water Worker G5 expansion tank set a 30 psi into the RV plumbing. Now we turn OFF the pump when retiring and we have a 55 second flow of water without needing to run the pump throughout the night.
When using the pump, instead of 2 seconds of flow before the pump starts a 4 second cycle we now have 18-20 seconds of flow followed by a 35 second pump cycle.

Nice mod Dave. I wish I had more room, I would put in the bigger tank like yours.

That's a mod that does make a big difference. I've been using an expansion tank since the first popup we had that was equipped with a pump. Now that we have the TT I had enough space to use the larger tank like yours. I also put a foam pad under the pump and padded the water lines near the pump to cut down on vibration. We barely hear the pump run.
