We got some door fronts and hardware from Crossroads - they are helpful with that kind of stuff!

I know I'm a little late to the party but here's what I came up with before I read this thread. No glue just friction fit Luan board.

I added 4 pull out drawers to the bottom cupboard on the corner, left of the sink. The small top pullout drawer I built 5 dividers into it for the cutlery.

Very nice. Did you buy or build your new drawers?

I built them myself. I'm not a carpenter but I do have every woodworking tool that would be equal to a finish carpenter. It's my hobby that I took on after quitting drinking 15 years ago, Thought I might need a hobby to fill the spare time. Wood was my choice and love building stuff, self taught, and super fussy, thats a beneficial factor. My father always putted around with wood, but he would sure love my line of tools. Good tools make woodworking easy, and the spare time.

Wgbalog; In total I added 5 drawers, those 4 and another to the bottom cupboard on the left just as you walk into the trailer. That drawer is for those odds and ends, extra bulbs, fuses, etc. My good for nothing drawer, everythings good - but can't find nothing. as the saying goes, lol. The cost to me was almost dead-on $100.00 dollars Canadian for the 5 sets of sliders and 1/2 inch sheet of melamine. I also used up a few extra odds+ends of 1x4 for the inside rear mount about 3-4feet long that were burning barrel bound anyway. It never took to much time to build the drawers, but installing them into the cupboards was a bit challenging and time consuming. BUT the reward was a set of cupboards that are totally necessary, and Momma bear still hasn't run out of room for the nick-nacks, tea-towels, etc. My story is kinda like this, the day after we got this used, new to us trailer home, we were showing it to the neighbor, and as I was sitting on the sofa while Momma Bear was showing the cupboards to them I noticed there was no place for the cutlery, as you mentioned yourself. That became project #1 of many, before taking this trailer on any camping excursion. As most others seem to do is you adjust your trailer to suit and simplify your needs, and its a lot of fun just getting it that way also. Enjoy.

Our utensil drawer was a mess until we bought this: https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Rugge...tlery+flatware
Four of each, easy to locate and put back. You know instantly what's missing. For the two of us, a set of four is plenty.

We added a 16" magnetic knife bar by attaching it to the backsplash using those 3M Command strips. We store the knives in a drawer when traveling. The bar is available from Bed, Bath and Beyond and made by Zyliss. There are many other variations of this bar on line.

I have the 270bh and we put a plastic dollar store cutlery tray in both top and bottom of the slide out drawers to the left of the under sink storage cabinets. They fit perfect and the top one holds the silverware and plastic cutlery while the bottom we put carving knives and spatulas and such in. Big step up for us coming from a Jayco 17 hybrid with no cutlery drawers at all.

One possibility would be to attach some kind of container/drawer to the underside of the countertop that extends out to the left of the sink. Not sure how you would accomplish that. Counter is easy to drill. I installed a pump type dish soap dispenser beside the taps. Had to cut a 1 1/4" hole to fit it.

No regrets!

I know I am coming late to the Party here, But I had a similar issue in my Camper. The factory gave us 2 small/thin drawers so I decided to add a much larger one above them.

I just used some Lowes bought 1/2 inch Panels, 1/4 panel for the bottom and some drawer slides. We purchased a small cutlery organizer for the inside of the drawer and it seems to work fairly well!

Just wondering where others store their cutlery tray?
Any good mods to add drawers?
Inside the one cupboard there is the two pull outs but thats really it..

We just incorporate the knives into our Saturday night parlor games and store them there[emoji3][emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]. No seriously. Small Rubbermaid bin.

We were placing it under the sink cabinet, but now, we just installed this dish rack https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RQMPY7Y and prefer to put all the cutlery here instead of using a cutlery tray. Because last time, I found the tray infected by pests. Yes, it was a wooden tray. Maybe in future, I would try a useful tray.
