Hello!
Having difficulty winterizing our fifth wheel. We have following the direction to a T (located the hot water tank by pass behind a wall in our pass through storage - done; and there is one more valve that we turned to be inline with the pipes). What is happening is we attached our hose to the inlet that says "anti-freeze), put the end in our rv anti-freeze, turn the pump on. We hear the pump working yet it isn't drawing any anti-freeze in.
The taps are turned on in the RV.
I just don't know why it's not sucking in the anti-freeze.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you turn on the pump you should hear the pump trying to suck air up the anti-freeze line when it is not into the jug. If you can then I suspect the pump needs to be primed. If not then there is probably a valve at the pump that is not opened properly. If you hear the line sucking air, turn off the pump and then pour a cup or so of antifreeze into the line, stick the line into the jug and then turn on the pump again.

I found additional valves on the hot water tank, also make sure your three way valve is working correctly when you turn it.

First off , shut all taps off and once you get anti freeze going ,open one tap at a time until pink just comes out then shut and continue. if you are having trouble ,ask a neighbour that has a trailer to give you some pointers.
