dewinterizing

I thought maybe some of you might get a kick out of this.
I pulled the trailer out of the shed and started the dewinterizing process.
Got all the anti freeze out of the lines, flushed them and started filling the tank with bleach/water solution. Then started filling the water heater, (I thought.)
It pumped quite awhile without water coming and I was starting to think the pump had died. I pulled the filter off the pump to see if it was plugged with crap--nope that was fine, but there was alittle pink stuff in the filter housing.
Then the lights and bells went off! I said to myself you dumb a** how many times have you told new members -- make sure you have ALL the valves turned on correctly.
I had neglected to turn the suction valve when I turned the other two.

So you guys that are having issues with the dewinterizing process, don't feel bad or stupid. There are a few of us old farts that miss the boat once in awhile to.

Been there done that.

Aren't you in Wisconsin? De-Winterizing in April is optimistic, right?
